Mark's Bio

Hi, I’m Mark Simmons, managing partner at  Sell Indy and a licensed Realtor® with eXp Realty.

Real estate has always been in my blood. I grew up on my father’s remodeling crew, learning construction, design, and what truly creates long-term value in a home. That early, hands-on experience shaped the way I evaluate properties and sparked a passion for real estate that continues today.

Before moving into real estate full-time, I spent more than 20 years in senior leadership roles within global supply chain and business strategy. In those roles, I regularly negotiated complex, high-stakes agreements, managed large budgets, and made decisions where leverage, timing, and attention to detail mattered. That background now gives my clients a meaningful advantage, because successful real estate outcomes are often driven by negotiation and strategy rather than price alone.

Over the past several years, I have personally completed a dozen-plus renovation and investment projects, turning distressed properties into high-performing homes and investments. I do not just analyze deals on paper. I have lived the renovation process, managed risk firsthand, and understand how buyers think and make decisions.

As both an investor and Realtor®, I bring a well-rounded, practical perspective to every client relationship.

For sellers, I apply a data-driven pricing and positioning strategy paired with strong negotiation skills to protect value, create urgency, and maximize net proceeds.

For buyers, I know how to identify opportunities others miss and structure competitive offers that win without overpaying.

For investors, I provide clear guidance on renovation scope, return potential, and long-term strategy to support disciplined decision-making.

At the core of my approach is the belief that real estate is strategic, not transactional. My clients value clear communication, steady leadership, and the confidence that comes from having an experienced negotiator advocating on their behalf.

Outside of real estate, you will often find me spending time with my wife and family, training with my CrossFit community, or supporting local organizations such as Shade Tree Foundation and Wheeler Mission.
